Osceola County, Florida — circuit court. Eddy Noelsaint, 54, was found guilty on four counts of sexual battery against a member of his congregation. The assaults occurred in 2022 after the victim joined his church; she said Noelsaint first raped her while she was staying at his home as part of her 'spiritual revival,' after giving her pills that left her unable to resist, and raped her again months later. Sentencing was scheduled for 11 Sep 2026.
Documented coercion mechanisms
- assignment of a 'spiritual godmother' (the pastor's own wife) as part of the victim's baptism, binding her further into the household
- hosting the victim in his home as part of a spiritual-revival process
- use of pills to incapacitate her before the first assault
