    Leninsky District Court of Ufa, Russia. On 4 December 2025 the Leninsky District Court of Ufa convicted two men who had run an unregistered religious boarding school for Muslim children aged four to sixteen, where pupils were regularly beaten and abused until one escaped in the summer of 2024 and exposed it. They were convicted of unlawful deprivation of liberty of minors with violence, torture with cruelty, and organising illegal migration, receiving eleven and six years in strict-regime colonies with teaching bans and confiscation.
