Albert Tamasane, 47, was convicted on two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault of a child who, at age 11, had moved with her mother into Tamasane's household — headed by his wife, the family's church pastor. After the mother's death left the child an orphan in that household, Tamasane raped her repeatedly from March 2019 while his wife worked night shifts, until the child disclosed to the wife in November 2019. He was sentenced to life imprisonment.
