Sinval Ferreira, 41, was convicted of sexual coercion through fraud (posse sexual mediante fraude) and extortion of church followers, and sentenced to 11 years and 3 months' imprisonment. He had been arrested in 2024 by the Civil Police of the Federal District. A female accomplice, also a pastor at the church, was implicated in reinforcing the fraudulent prophecies and threats to followers.
