A 59-year-old pastor (named in later press as Mandlelisa Mabhale) was convicted on nine counts of rape and one of attempted rape against twelve children (ten boys, two girls) aged 7 to 14, committed 2020-2022, and sentenced to ten terms of life imprisonment; also received seven concurrent five-year terms for sexual assault and seven concurrent five-year terms for exposing children to pornography.
