An imam identified as Ibrahim B., 49, was convicted of the rape of a 10-year-old boy and assault of a 13-year-old boy in the mosque context where he held religious-instructional authority, and was sentenced on 26 March 2024 to six years' imprisonment plus ten years' probation.
