Chapainawabganj Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal, Bangladesh. Suayebur Rahman, 52, was convicted of raping three girl students under his instruction — one identified as nine years old — and sentenced to life imprisonment plus a 50,000-taka fine (with a further five years' imprisonment in default). The tribunal heard testimony from eleven witnesses. The first documented assault occurred 19 February 2022; the case was filed the next day by the victim's maternal uncle.
