Justiça de Santa Catarina (TJSC), Brazil. A 53-year-old evangelical pastor in Tubarão was sentenced to 40 years for sexual violation by fraud (violação sexual mediante fraude) against nine victims — eight women, including two minors, and one man — committed between 2011 and 2021 under the pretext of prayer and spiritual support, inside the church, in victims' homes and elsewhere. He was denied the right to appeal at liberty.
