Wang Xingfu, a former prison-system official who fabricated a Tibetan identity and staged an enthronement to pose as the reincarnate Living Buddha 'Lobsang Danzeng', was convicted of rape and forcible indecency against female disciples, alongside cult-organisation and illegal-business offences, and sentenced to 25 years.
