Segundo Cousido Vieites, a Salesian priest and religion teacher, was convicted and sentenced to 32 years and 6 months for sexually abusing at least six minors during 2019, exploiting his role as teacher and organiser of Salesian camps and pilgrimages. He fled before beginning his sentence in March 2023 and remains among Spain's most-wanted fugitives.
