Hieromonk Kliment (Korablev) was convicted on 3 September 2021 of three episodes of violent sexual acts against children under fourteen between January 2019 and February 2020, together with inducing a minor to consume alcohol, and sentenced to thirteen years in a strict-regime colony. The church deferred his defrocking until the verdict entered force.
