Misael Villalta, pastor of the 'Fundamento Eterno' church in Comasagua, La Libertad, was sentenced to 20 years for repeatedly raping a minor — the daughter of congregants — inside the church during 2019, in a prosecution by the Fiscalía's child-and-women's crimes unit at Santa Tecla.
