Michael Oluronbi, a self-proclaimed Nigerian prophet and Cherubim and Seraphim church leader, was convicted of 15 counts of rape, 7 counts of indecent assault and 2 counts of sexual assault against six women and one man, most of them congregants, across two decades. He was sentenced to 34 years' imprisonment and placed on the sex offenders register for life. His wife, Juliana Oluronbi, was convicted of aiding and abetting rape by arranging abortions for victims he impregnated and was sentenced to 11 years.
