Vincent Ryan was convicted on 23 May 1996 (six years), on 24 September 1997 on a guilty plea to 53 offences (16 years 6 months), on 14 October 2016 (suspended sentence), and on 22 May 2019 of indecent assault of altar boys (3 years 3 months, 14-month non-parole). He abused at least 37 children, mostly altar boys, and died in 2022.
