Segundo Tribunal Penal Colegiado de Mendoza; Suprema Corte de Mendoza; CSJN. On 25 November 2019 the priests Horacio Corbacho Blanck and Nicola Corradi were sentenced to 45 and 42 years, and gardener Armando Gómez to 18, for aggravated sexual abuse and corruption of deaf child students of the Instituto Próvolo in Mendoza. Mendoza's Suprema Corte ratified all three unanimously; the national Supreme Court dismissed Corbacho's final recourse in February 2024, leaving his sentence firm, and left Gómez's firm in October 2023. Corradi died under house arrest on 14 July 2021 before his appeals concluded.
