Court in Vologda Oblast, Russia. Alexei Mokievsky, rector of the Holy Trinity church at Lipin Bor, was convicted on 12 April 2019 of eighteen months of indecent acts against a twelve-year-old parishioner between 2017 and 2018, together with producing and distributing pornographic material — he filmed the child and sent her pornography over social media. He pleaded guilty and received four and a half years; he was suspended after his October 2018 arrest and defrocked in early 2019.
