Mixed Court of First Instance, Fifth Judicial District, Jesús María, Aguascalientes, Mexico. The court sentenced José Manuel Aguilar García, 78, to 87 years in prison and a 67,593-peso fine for rape, sexual abuse and indecent assault against eight minors he recruited between 2006 and 2007 while delivering Catholic spiritual-guide formation courses. After the victims filed complaints, he relocated to Querétaro and worked as a theology professor until his arrest there in May 2014.
