New Brunswick Court of Queen's Bench. Yvon Arsenault, 74, a priest of the Archdiocese of Moncton removed from service in July 2012, pleaded guilty to nine counts of molesting boys and was sentenced to four years' imprisonment in February 2017. The nine victims ranged in age from 9 to 17 when the abuse occurred between 1971 and 1980 in Shediac and Collette, Northumberland County; eleven further counts were withdrawn on the guilty plea.
