Catholic Church canonical tribunal (Croatia). Priest Nedjeljko Ivanov, serving in Bibinje from 1976 to 1996, was alleged to have abused more than 100 boys, predominantly during confession. In 2014 he became the first Croatian priest convicted by a Catholic Church canonical court for pedophilia; no criminal prosecution occurred because the conduct was time-barred, and he was not laicized.
