    Johannesburg High Court, South Africa. Madumetsa Jack Mogale, known as the West End serial killer, was convicted on 17 February 2011 of sixteen murders, nineteen rapes and nine kidnappings, and sentenced to sixteen life terms plus twenty-three years. Two surviving victims testified that he had identified himself as a Zion Christian Church preacher and prophet to gain their trust before assaulting and killing.
