    High Court of Ghana (Justice Lydia Osei Marfo), jury trial. In October 2024 a Ghanaian High Court convicted Nicholas Kini of murder and conspiracy in the 2021 killing of a ten-year-old boy at Kasoa, and sentenced him to life imprisonment; a juvenile co-defendant was separately sentenced to twelve months in a correctional facility. The prosecution established that the killing was carried out for money rituals after the defendant watched a video of a spiritualist promising wealth in exchange for a cash payment and human blood.
