    Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Canada. Stephen Schacter, a teacher at Toronto's Eitz Chaim Schools for nearly two decades and later a supply teacher at Yeshiva Yesodei HaTorah, was convicted in November 2018 of three counts of sexual assault, two of sexual interference and one of gross indecency against student victims (offences 1982–2002, one boy abused dozens of times at ages eleven to thirteen), with a separate 2018 child-pornography conviction, and was sentenced in 2019 to five years.
