    Hang Dong Police Station, Chiang Mai, Thailand. Police arrested Kamoltep Chaisri, 43, known as Ajarn Suea Ban Fon, on rape charges after his stepdaughter's mother filed a complaint alleging he coerced the 18-year-old (from around January 2024) into sex approximately five times under the pretext that intercourse was required to remove a curse, using a gold-leaf ritual and threatening her with a firearm. Police seized six registered handguns, an unlicensed air rifle, ammunition and methamphetamine pills from his residence. He denied the allegations.
