Pengadilan Negeri Banjarnegara, Indonesia. Slamet Tohari, the Banjarnegara dukun known as 'Mbah Slamet', promised clients supernatural money-multiplication, then poisoned at least twelve of them with potassium-cyanide 'ritual' drinks when they demanded their money back, burying the bodies on his land. On 1 February 2024 he was sentenced to death for premeditated murder, one judge dissenting for life. By October 2024 he had been transferred to Nusakambangan as a death-row convict, and by July 2025 the prosecution listed his case as having final legal force.
