    Sovetsky District Court of Rostov-on-Don; Rostov Regional Court, Russia. Maria Belashova, who sold curse-removal and love-return rituals online as the 'hereditary healer Maria Moreno', was convicted of fraud against at least thirteen victims across many regions between January 2019 and May 2022, causing more than two million roubles in losses, and sentenced to five years in a general-regime colony. The Rostov Regional Court upheld the sentence without modification on 17 May 2024.
