Hariyanto, 51, a dukun, and an accomplice were convicted under Indonesia's Child Protection Law of repeatedly raping a 14-year-old girl over several months under the pretext of a ritual to 'open her aura', including a fabricated virginity inspection, with threats of supernatural harm if she refused. The victim became pregnant.
