Rechtbank Den Haag, Netherlands. The Hague district court sentenced the 77-year-old priest to 18 months' imprisonment, six of them suspended, for sexually abusing a woman during a ritual in her home in May 2020. The woman had sought his help for health complaints. During the second treatment visit he touched her breasts and penetrated her, telling her not to refuse. He also received a three-year professional ban and was ordered to pay 7,500 euros in damages.
