A man and an accomplice in Hihya, Sharqia governorate, were accused of assaulting four women (2021-2022) after claiming ability to extract jinn the women were said to be possessed by; some victims became pregnant, and the accused threatened to expose them via recorded video. The case was referred to Zagazig Criminal Court for prosecution.
