Rozhyshche District Court, Volyn Oblast, Ukraine (Рожищенський районний суд Волинської області). The defendant, anonymised in the published judgment as ОСОБА_2, was convicted of fraud committed repeatedly under part 2 of article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and sentenced to three years' deprivation of liberty. Under article 71 two months of an unserved sentence imposed by the Chudniv District Court of Zhytomyr Oblast on 30 June 2010 were partially added, giving a final term of three years two months. She remained in custody, with time served from 9 September 2010 and from the earlier proceedings credited. The court found that on 7 September 2010 she was on the grounds of the Rozhyshche central district hospital, in one of the administrative buildings, and there — 'under the pretext of a rite of divination and the removal of a curse from the victims and their relatives, who were in danger, having promised by her divination to heal them' — obtained 2,000 hryvnia from one victim and 60 from another, a total loss of 2,060 hryvnia. She admitted the offence in full.

The court records that the defendant, «перебуваючи на території Рожищенської ЦРЛ, в одному з адмінприміщень», acted «шляхом обману, а саме під приводом обряду ворожіння та зняття порчі з потерпілих та їх рідних, яким загрожує небезпека, пообіцявши своїм ворожінням зцілити останніх», and «повторно заволоділа чужим майном» — 2,000 hryvnia from one victim and 60 from another, «чим заподіяла потерпілим майнову шкоду на загальну суму 2060 грн.» The judgment records that she admitted the offence in full. The operative part convicts under ст.190 ч.2 КК України, imposes three years' deprivation of liberty, adds two months of an unserved sentence from the Chudniv District Court under ст.71 for a final three years two months, and credits time in custody from 9 September 2010.
