Michael William Lenz was convicted of capital murder for the killing of fellow inmate and Ironwood Kindred member Brent Parker, stabbed 68 times during an Asatru blot ceremony at Augusta Correctional Center on January 16, 2000, and sentenced to death; a co-defendant, Jeffrey Remington, received the same sentence and died by suicide on death row in 2004.
